Euganean Hills: a place full of surprises
At the beginning of 2019 I want to remember my last days of 2018. I was at home for the Christmas Holidays and I could go to the Euganean Hills, Italy. It was a bit of time that I didn’t go there. And it was much more time I didn’t ride trails in this area. So I have asked to some friends to come with me. The result: two different paths on different days but with the same background, the magnificent place which Euganean Hills is.
I spent the first day with Gianluca, a friend from my hometown. We went to a classic single track the “Pistino”. It’s a trail with some jumps, drops and a big natural shore.
Instead, for the last ride of the year, I went out with Seba, a high school friend. We pedaled to the top of the hill and then went down through this new secret trail. It’s a flow path inside the woods with some technical steps.
Every time I’m here I think we’re lucky because the Euganean Hills are amazing. You can do what you want: run, walk, climb and of course ride your bike. You can find a lot of trails with different kind of difficulty.
I’ve been around a long time but every time I’m really surprised. I’m astonished of the nature around me.
I’m totally sure there are a lot of places to discover and I’m really looking forward to start. So I wish you a happy new year…full of adventures. Cheers!
