Go Solo: Chapter Three
It’s been a while that I don’t pedal. I haven’t used my bike since the middle of August; almost 2 months. I’m not in shape and I’m aware of this. In the last few days I’ve been looking for an easy trail. But most of the time this means boring. So I’ve searched for the right mix. I’ve found something in the Paganella’s area, Italy. But I wasn’t really sure about this. At the end I’ve changed completely my idea and I’ve opted for an area near where I live.
And it is precisely on these occasions that I’m happy to live here. I can just go out from my apartment and see the mountains. Moreover, I can drive just a little bit and I get near some really scenic areas. So today I’m here. I’m in the Siusi at Sciliar, an Italian alpine village. It is a small part of Kastelruth.
It’s getting cold in the last days. Today is 5 degrees (C) and there’s a clear sky. It is a perfect day to be outside and enjoy the nature. The tour runs along a paved road for the most part of it. And I don’t like it. But fortunately there are no cars so I pedal unstressed.
Around me a panoramic view, especially, the imposing mountain which the Sciliar is!
When I reach the top of my tour I understand that now it’s time to have fun. In fact, the paved road changes into a flow trail. I also have time to visit the ruins of a castle.
Short and easy tour for a chillax day with my bike. Now it’s time to go home… I’m starving.
